Whenever you forget your driving license at home or your documents are lost or stolen. In such times, this app proves to be the most helpful for you. If you have a soft copy of your driving license in your phone, then you can easily save yourself from deducting the challan by showing it.

Step 1: First of all make sure that your phone number is linked with Aadhaar or not. If the phone is not registered with Aadhaar, then in this case you will not be able to use the DigiLocker app.
Step 2: If the phone is registered with Aadhaar, then go to the official website of digitallocker.gov.in.
Step 3: Click on Sign Up. Enter your name, date of birth, registered mobile number, email id and password in it. Here you have to generate your own password.
Step 4: With this you have to enter your Aadhar card number. On entering the Aadhar card, you will get two options: OTP and Fingerprint. You can use any one of these options as per your choice.
Step 5: Once this process is completed, you will be asked to create your username and password. With this username and password, you will be able to log in yourself to the DigiLocker app.

How to upload documents in DigiLocker, know its process?

An account has been created on DigiLocker, now you also know how you can upload your documents in it?

1- When you are logged in to DigiLocker, two sections will appear in your personal account.
2- In the first section, you will get the certificate issued by different agencies, their URL link, date of issue and the option to share.
3- In the second section you will get the option of your uploaded certificate, summary (brief details), share and e-sign.
4- You can choose the appropriate option from the options given to upload the document.
5-  If you want to upload the certificate, then click on My Certificate.
6- After this, by clicking on Upload Document, select your certificate.
7- After this, whatever information is asked of you, fill it.
8- In this way you can upload all your documents in Digital Locker.

Step 1: Android phone users go to Google Playstore and iPhone users have to go to Apple App Store.

Step 2: Here you have to search for ‘mParivahaan’ app.
Step 3: Click on ‘mParivahaan’ app and then tap on Install.

Download Virtual RC from the app like this

1- Open the mParivahaan app.
2-  You will see three lines on the right hand side, tap on it.
3- The option of Sign in will appear here, tap on it.
4-  Now enter your mobile number, SMS verification code.
5- After that go to the home screen of the app and tap on RC.
6- Search field will appear, search by entering the number of the vehicle in it.
7- By doing this, the data related to the app registration number will be fetched automatically.
8- Now you can add RC by clicking on the option of ‘Add to dashboard’.
