This bath is done every year on the full moon day of Kartik month, which is on Friday, November 19, 2021, this time. On this special day, fairs are organized from place to place at the Ganga Ghats. Where people go and take bath in the Ganges and worship Lord Vishnu or Mata Lakshmi.

Worship method on Kartik Purnima-
On this day, one should wake up in the morning at Brahma Muhurta and take a bath and if possible, one should take a bath at the Ganges Ghat, since this festival is also known as Dev Deepawali, then a desi ghee lamp should also be lit on the banks of the Ganges, later the resolution of the fast. Worship Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshya with desi ghee, incense, lamp, fruits, flowers, and naivedya etc. And in the evening, after offering panchamrit, the fast should be broken by performing aarti.
