The story of the climber Sergei Sistiakov –
Once a Russian mountaineer, Sergey Sistiakov, tried to cross Mount Kailash, but he also failed, and he told that as soon as he was about to reach the top of Mount Kailash, his heartbeat suddenly became so fast that he was compelled. Had to go back and he believed that there is such a power on the mountain which forces him not to climb the mountain.
Incoming sounds of the pronunciation of Damru and Om-
When the abode of Lord Shiva is reached on Mount Kailash, then even before reaching there, you will hear the sound of damru and the pronunciation of Om. But till date no one has seen the sound of this Damru and Om chanting. Because even before reaching there, some natural disaster starts to be felt.
Flashing of lights –
It is believed that many wise people have seen seven different lights shining on many peaks of Mount Kailash in the dark of night and believe that all this happens by the grace of Lord Shiva. But according to scientists this is due to the magnetic force of the mountain.
Thus, according to religious beliefs, even today the abode of Lord Shiva is considered to be on Mount Kailash.
