In the month of Bhadrapada, Shukla Paksha starts from Pratipada date i.e. this year 2021 Sharadiya Navratri according to Hindu calendar calendar will start from Gurubar on 7th October and end on Friday 15th October after 9 days. In Hindu religion, Navratri fast is of great importance. In these 9 days, different forms of Mother Rani are worshiped and fasted every day. It is believed that Goddess Durga fulfills all the wishes of those who observe these fasts.

Ritual
Get up early in the morning, clean the house in a clean way and purify it with Ganges water, anoint Mother Durga with water. Offer akshat, vermilion and red flowers to the mother, offer fruits and sweets as prasad.
Recite Durga Chalisa by lighting incense and lamps and then do the aarti of the mother.
Offer food to the mother too.
