Govardhan puja date
Govardhan Puja is a festival celebrated just next day of Deepawali, which is celebrated every year with great pomp. This festival is celebrated every year on Pratipada Tithi of Shukla Paksha in Kartik month. Which is now 5th November 2021 day is on Friday. On this day Giriraj Govardhan Parvat Maharaj is worshipped. Which was started by Lord Shri Krishna.
Significance of Govardhan Puja-
It was started by Lord Shri Krishna to reduce the ego of Indradev. When Indradev came in his ego and troubled all the residents of Braj with his Maya rain. Then Lord Shri Krishna had lifted the entire Govardhan mountain with his Maya-like wheel on his single finger and started worshiping Govardhan Maharaj by protecting the people of Braj.

Worship method –
After getting up early in the morning, after retiring from bath etc., make the shape of Govardhan Maharaj from cow dung, and also make the shape of your livestock like cow, calf, buffalo etc. in that shape. After that, duly worship with incense, lamp, sweets etc. and bathe Lord Krishna with milk and offer him Annakoot.
